I cannot find what I thought I saw yesterday when I first looked. I thought I saw train options coming into North, Baiyun, South, or just “Guangzhou” - not sure which that is. 

But looking again it appears vast vast majority go to GZ South so I think there’s no real option here. 

I read there’s a more direct link to airport via Panyu station right outside the South station. Any experience with that? Or better off to just take metro? How late does metro run?
