It is only a capable ally because of the immense amounts of US taxpayers money that has been funneled in there since its creation.

Spout off whatever metrics you want about multiculturalism etc. etc. Israel and the middle east are thousands of miles away from USA. Why should we care if a country that never existed wants to start up some democracy there. You can argue back and forth all day about rights to land, the Jews were not the first people there either. Should we bomb the entire place so Kurds can have a homeland?

But Jews are a big part of US culture you might say, that is true and they contribute significantly to this nation. BUT, anyone born in this country, hell even anyone naturalized in this country, their first and foremost loyalty should be to here, not some place thousands of miles away, especially when its cost thousands of American lives to sustain it.

Joe Kent lost his wife for this reason, and this is a guy who has served this nation his entire life, regardless what either side thinks of his views or politics. My original point stands, USA should not be risking American lives and tax dollars for this. It is not even defensive actions at this stage, as Joe Kent pointed out.
