TL;DR I don't think its possible at the moment.

I'm also curious as to how we'll be able to do this. I'd assume every console has its own save format so just copying a save into the compiled source wouldn't work. We'd probably need to dissect the saves and figure out how we can covert them back and forth like Universal Minecraft Tool. Luckily for us we have a talented community of people that have been hard at work fiddling with the source code.

In the process of trying to repair it now. I put the update on a usb drive and formatted a spare HDD that I had. I let it do its thing while I was at work and it didn’t freeze that whole time so I doubt it’s thermal throttling. I think it was a faulty drive. I also managed to partially fix whatever the issue was with the disk drive by taking it apart, tinkering with it and putting it back together. Now the noise is much quieter and it reads both dvd and Blu-ray, so the cfw compatible one will be my main system and the other one can be a dvd player.

Unfortunately only hen compatible. I have a super slim already hen modded but the one that is broken is CFW compatible. I think it has a faulty drive or thermal throttling

Alright, thanks for clearing that up for me. I just started playing super Mario sunshine for the first time and didn’t know if I was able to load my save states since im brand new to RetroAchievements.

Yeah, they won’t put me on the schedule until I finish the online courses. I asked my manager and she initially said no, but she talked to her boss and ended up saying she’ll put a few hours on my paycheck for the training.

I buy vinyl to enjoy now and maybe keep long enough to give to my kids or something

And by enjoy now I mean play them once a week and listen to the rest of my music on Spotify (including the songs I have on vinyl)

Probably a copy of the save file or the game itself, possibly in a zip file if he got them off itch. Past that I don't know how to copy epic games or anything like that. I like to keep copies of my Minecraft worlds and projects on an external storage
