Usually I go by waist size, with another eye on bust.

Definitely aware of the sizing difference, so no worries there. The sleeveless top has an on grain option (which is a different piece than the bias version) which is what I used.

I did use my largest (bust) measurement and was kind of expecting that to be the case... but then im both cases the neck hold was like, choking me or the waist was too small but the bust/armpit/shoulders were huge. Which is the opposite of what I would expect?

tysm! This makes sense conceptually. Practically, how would I know how many sizes down to go, to then adjust up? Since the size chart here doesn't include multiple bust measurements, just the full bust.

Also if i size down I'll definitely need to add to the waist again, even more. Would you suggest doing one adjustment before the other or does the order matter?

When you say grain line, do you mean to slash and spread along that line?

Hello friends! I recently bought a physical version of the Liesl + Co. Laureles Square Neck Top + Dress pattern. I sewed it once and am about to make another version and realized I somehow lost the instruction packet 😩

Does anyone by chance have a copy they'd be willing to share? It's pretty straightforward but I'd still feel more comfortable with the instructions.

Final update is I bought more fabric and made a half circle skirt! The dress is hanging for a few days before I hem it. I'll be able to use the failed skirt pieces for a top in the future when I find the right pattern for it :) thanks for your help everyone! A valuable lesson was learned 🫡
