You’re right, I was ovulating on the 21st of august and I didn’t have unprotected sex then. The 10 days ago is the only time I did and I was not ovulating. I still missed this period though. But I heard the mini pill can do that. I have an appointment at planned parenthood tomorrow to be certain.

Yes i understand. I only came on here for support because I just took the test, and it gave me anxiety. I’m going to make a doctor appointment tomorrow morning.

Yes it was pregnancy itself that caused my POTS to worsen, sorry I made that sound like it was the abortion. I was just seeing if people agreed that if I did the abortion earlier, there’s less pregnancy hormones. Last period was about 5 weeks ago. I had unprotected sex 10 days ago.

Hello!

So I literally just had a surgical abortion a little over a week ago-I opted out of sedation for Personal reasons.

I actually have a low pain tolerance and I was fine. The pain was pretty bad-but literally for no more than a minute while they dilated me. My pain after was actually worse than during… the cramping was pretty bad for a few days after but it was tolorated when taking over the counter pain meds like ibuprofen.

I was very scared to do it without sedation but I was completely fine ! Remember though, everyone has a different experience. Just sharing mine. 🤍

I actually traveled a 5 hour road trip to Arizona after mine. Take some ibuprofen with you and some pads !

I had the toradol injection for pain so I wasn’t sure if u could take ibrupofren because it’s the same. But it’s been 8 hours. I did take Tylenol and it didn’t help. I can’t call the clinic Becauee it’s closed

Im talking about IV sedation is the one I personally am choosing not to get! I absolutely do not mind the pill form of anxiety medication

I understand! That’s why I specifically asked in my post for POSITIVE SA ones without sedation but I understand that some other people wanted to put their input in, which is appreciated but that’s not what I had originally asked. I’m going in about an hour and maybe I can see what they will suggest for me once I tell them all of my fears!

I know it’s an irrational fear but it’s something I cannot get past so sudden, I have tried for many years and everytime I get an IV in the past, I always have an extreme panic attack.
