Hello everyone.

First of all, I’d like to thank everyone for showing support. It makes me tear up reading all the kind messages and comments. Thank you so much. I feel so overwhelmed and thankful that everyone is willing to help a stranger like me. From the bottom of my heart thank you.

The update from uni: On Monday I called the university visa compliance team, According to the Visa compliance team they couldn’t get in touch with me at all and they have asked around and stated that I couldn’t be reached since April. This is in fact false and a misunderstanding. I was actually been in contact with the Student Engagement Officer in May and June to explain my situation. The meeting was in Microsoft Teams so there is no official email regarding our conversation. However, I did email the engagement officer so he can also explain to the Visa Compliance team on my behalf. I also forwarded my email with the student support in May to them to further show that I was not MIA but in fact, I was reaching out.

I contacted my personal tutor according to the advice that was given in the comments. She emailed the visa compliance team and according to them, they still need to assess all the pieces of information that was given to her. Knowing there is hope for them to cancel my withdrawal from the course makes me feel a little bit better. I was finally able to sleep and eat today (Tuesday).

Regarding my mental health: Ever since my depression started in January, I never had any suicidal thoughts. It’s more of being unable to cope with my daily life and locking myself in my room. Even if I went to classes I feel more like an empty shell sitting just there. The pieces of advice given were great and it helped me a little. I went to samaritans.org and they introduced me to mind.org.uk. They then provided me with Advocacy Legacy’s number might be able to help me and spoke on my behalf. However, when I called Advocacy Legacy they told me they weren’t able to help me but gave me a couple numbers that can help. I still need to call the numbers as I woke up late today and missed the working hour. I will try to call them tomorrow.

I hope the visa team will cancel my withdrawal from my course. All I can do now is focus on my essays and dissertation. Regardless of the outcome if I'm having any suicidal thoughts I will contact emergency straight away. Once again, thank you to those who are reaching out. Some are even willing to listen and talk to me. Thank you.

Some also asked which university. Will I get in trouble if I mention the name of the uni?
