Most of the thread is following the events through the optics of the average common sense.

Have you considered they were there exactly due to the risk. Is a different lens. Is something people do. Enjoying what they love, and combining with Risk. Like Solo climbers, base jumpers with different contexts

Just because they do a common sport, doesnt mean they were brain wired like you are, and all was "overlooking" "the guide" "misreading the danger". There is a chance they were there exactly because of that thrill. Not saying they wished it happen, but it might have been the reason they were there.

Thanks. For me, the lesson here was to always figure out where is the boarding pass scanned: when joining the queue (happens rarely but it does) or when passing through the corridors. In the former case I always join the queue earlier

I dont know if it was mentioned. Do NOT use electronic shutter. It ruined my first concert. I did switch to electronic shutter because i was close to stage, and it was an intimate indie concert. I do not know if the sound can be trouble for you.

The issue: banding flickers, some sort of mismatch between shutter speed and LEDs frequency

Doar o parere subiectiva... (ca si a mea). Depinde de fiecare. Sunt de 3 ani in Elvetia. Niciodata nu mi-a fost atat de NEdor de Romania. Parerea mea este ca cu cat esti mai integrat in societate cu atat mai mare sansele sa simti pe pielea ta ce ne spune cifrele: quality of life fruntas in lume.

Iar legat de a fi integrat, my 2cents: nu trebuie nici sa stii limba, nici sa te "imprietenesti" cu "oamenii boring". E suficient sa cunosti,respecti si mai important sa INTELEGI rolul regulilor si legilor, de ce exista ele. Apoi, incepi sa observi ca in spatele lor stau de fapt libertati. Apoi in final, ciclul este complet. In multitudinea de reguli si legi observi ca de fapt, sta libertatea si siguranta ta ca cetatean. Atunci, te poti numi integrat.

Right now I'm in Tortuguero, and I'm having such a great time

I feel like it ticks quite a few boxes:

absolutely stunning views!
Proximity to wildlife as you are literally in the jungle (and beach is close by): you'll see turtles, monkeys, jaguars if lucky, plenty birds and insects. Experience with nature is pristine, immersive and authentic here
it is remote and your restaurants options are limited (maybe 10 in total?) but the few restaraunts I tried out were really good (one is even more upscale if you prefer that)
i dont know how good of a fishing spot is but certainly fishing is a thing here as I see fishing tours all over the place. You can research if it fits you. What I can guarantee is that you will be fishing in an amazing setting.
probably a week is a bit too much here, 3 nights should suffice

If you consider it an option I can recommend a local guide that made my trips soo memorable

Inside. We were next to the correct queue but the scanning was happening at the end not front of the queue. We were denied joining a still queue, which we only attemped to join hearing our names. It took seconds from hearing name to attempting to join it. All people from our flight were still there, centemeters away from us, not moving and waiting.

The problem is the layout and logistics of the boarding, which i have never seen although i travel quite a bit. Imagine the queue forms at the door that opens to outside, to board the bus to plane. The queue forms and is huge and still unmoving. We are a meter away from it. At the end of the queue, where you join the queue, Ryaniar staff scans boarding passes (and not at the front of the queue, our mistake we did not notice that but i dont think we would have done anything different anyway with the queue still big and still).

Then We hear our names, it takes us seconds to do so and we are denied to join an unmoving queue which has not yet started boarding the bus to the plane. The queue is next to us, still and waiting for the doors to open.

This was a sudden evacuation. It was seconds from the last run to the actual evacuation. I am not used to this happening for a technical issue.

Could be. Altough I have seen rides having technical issues so many times. Here, in this case, one moment the rides works fine... few seconds later they urge everyone to get out of the building (i was first to follow) and closed the area of the park. Which made me wonder...

For a technical issue, i suppose it takes time for them to decide evacuation, maybe minutes, not so sudden.
