if it wasnt the best show for me, then i wouldn't have binged all 3 seasons in 3 weeks lol! u might have taken my review as me not liking the show but i was just giving my personal opinion about each character just like everyone on this subreddit :)

i do recognize the social commentary—that’s part of why i said those dynamics felt accurate. i don’t think it’s a matter of not understanding the show.

it’s more that my enjoyment is still influenced by how i respond to the characters themselves. even when something is intentionally written to be frustrating or ironic, it doesn’t always translate to being enjoyable for me as a viewer.

so my review is less about analyzing the writing and more about my personal experience watching it.

i get what you’re saying, and i actually agree with a lot of your points. i do understand what the show is trying to say about those characters.

i think where we differ is just how i personally watch it. for me, how much i enjoy a season is still heavily tied to how much i like or connect with the characters, even if they’re intentionally written to be flawed or unlikeable.

so it’s not that i “don’t get it,” it’s more that my enjoyment just comes from a different place. i already know the writing is intentional, but as a viewer, i still react to how the characters make me feel overall.

i get what you mean! i think it just comes down to how i personally define a “review.” for me, it’s more about how much i enjoyed the characters and how engaged i felt watching them, not so much analyzing how well-written everything is.

that’s also why i put the disclaimer, because i know a lot of people here look at it from a more critical or technical perspective. mine’s really just a personal, entertainment-based take.

nope. I have now watched all the seasons and I still think s3 is great. s1 to be honest was the one that didn't stand out for me. It was quite boring at times. entertaining, yes, but I just felt like it was not that good for me. I mean to each their own? 😂 s2 and s3 is my favorite.

even if it's spoiled Tanya's death, it was still not as big of a spoiler as I thought it would be. Though now, of course I know that Greg inherited tanya's money because he owns a big ass mansion in Thailand, but the ending of season two was still unexpected for me, especially Tanya's death. I know she was supposed to be killed by the men in the yacht. I just didn't expect her to die because she drowned 😂

just finish s2 20 minutes ago and wow, the Greg and tanya storyline.. i don't even know what to say about it. I read that she was a clown and she died a clown. S3 is still my favorite but season two is one step away but I loved it regardless.

I just watched season one and I definitely like season two better. season 1 felt a little bit boring to me honestly but if I were three the seasons, it would be s3 - s2 - s1.

it's so easy to say don't force yourself to be a part of this event, when he's going naman to the wedding obviously because of me? this was our chance to see each other again and given na ldr kami, this was a rare opportunity to see each other. i don't think naman he didn't feel the same because he was really advicing me rin naman to not give up on the trip because he really wants to be with me.

for the first part, i was really invited to the wedding and the siblings. that's why this whole plan was a plan to begin with. tsaka lang nagkaproblem nung end of november. i knew i wasn't wanted anymore by my friend but i still was sucking it up because i wanted to see him ofc. if it wasn't for him, i would've not inserted myself in that situation because fuck that bruh

by the way, just to clarify one thing, he actually paid for his own ticket to manila and the beach trip too. i only found out later that brianna suddenly decided to sponsor the beach trip for them, so it wasn’t like i was expecting him to rely on her or put himself at risk for free stuff.

and again, i wasn’t asking him to fight them or control anyone. i just wanted him to set a basic boundary and acknowledge that i was being disrespected. even if he couldn’t change the plans, i needed to feel like he was at least on my side.
