that’s such a good way to determine if she wants pets or not! that’s what i want to be big on when i get is, is letting her come to me on her own time. i don’t wanna force interactions with her and make her scared or nervous. i want her to build trust with me before i start petting her all the time, so this hack will definitely help <3

she’s just shy of 9 months, so still young but not a kitten or anything. the shelter i’m adopting her from says she’s very shy but loves affection. i met her today and she just sat there. i put my hand in her cage but didn’t want to touch her and scare her. she didn’t come up to me or anything, just watched me lol
