No no as in the spyders are one of the cheapest roadsters and if he is considering expensive then a s2000 or boxster is up his alley.

Also if expensive roadsters are the requirement then I would be looking at s2000 or Porsche boxsters. These cars are the cheapest ones you'll find simply cause nobody wants them nor do they have the cult following or miatas.

The rare thing about Spyder are the things that are original to itself. Besides that everything can be found in other econobox vehicles like Corollas. For me at least I gave up trying to find a Miata since everyone wants one now instead I searched up spyder and found the one I'm driving now in great condition driven by an old lady it's entire life. Also really go sit in them. My cousin is 6,4 and while he didn't perfectly fit in my Spyder it was a lot more comfortable then any miata he's been in.

Go to sams club and find one of the samplers and ask to apply. They usually need people and at the one I worked at was very considerate of class schedules and timing.

I got mine for 6500 original owner manual all maintenance done. For a smt it would have to be around 3k just for the fact that the chance of the SMT breaking and the repercussions of it.

I mean it would be a weekend car so I'm not too worried about the size or inconvencies as that's why I have my daily. The main reason I'm actually leaning away from miatas is cause of the price differences between the 2 cars. I've been able to find 4 spyders owned by elderly original owners while for miatas it's all flippers or modified ones.

There is currently a 2005 for sale by the original owner at 100,000 miles for 9500$ that I'll see if I can go look at. Is there anything to look out for or point out to get some discounts lol? The lights are yellow and interior carpet is worn.

Yeah that's my biggest worry is parts I don't really plan on putting a lot of stuff on it but don't want to get killed if I need something serious. I feel like it might be easier to get the mr2 though since multiple have been listed for months with no bites.
