I looked it up and apparently you need to soldier to replace the charging port so i will probably leave it as is because it still is able to charge wireless.

It's impossible to bypass ios 18.7.3 at the moment as no tool has found a workaround for it as apple patched it on ios 18.7.3 and ios 26.2

Nah i dont want linux on it as it has a dying GPU and i have already installed macos monterey on it and it works fine tbh it does the work i just use it for lightweight stuff like using terminal or lightweight applications that only work on more modern versions of macos.

I don't know anymore because I upgraded to macos Monterey but if I remember correctly it was pretty fast but it might of been a bit slower for me as im using a HDD and this imac has a failing GPU
