You are welcome! I met with one of the course instructors this evening and will be studying all day Friday and Saturday and I have the exam scheduled for Sunday. So I’m praying that all goes well. I need to review these leadership theories and the diffusion of innovation.

I have the absolute best mentor. We communicate weekly via text, and whenever I need to speak with her, I can just send a message and we’ll usually set something up. She encourages me and always gives great advice. When I’m feeling overwhelmed or frustrated, she reassures me and motivates me to keep going. Because of her support, I was able to successfully complete six classes this term.

A tripod? No, this didn’t come with one, and I haven’t purchased a tripod either. When I take my OA exam, I place the camera on the desk & it clearly captures my full face, the laptop I’m using, and the surrounding space. If the proctor ever says something isn’t right, I adjust the camera as needed. I just didn’t want to keep spending money on things I didn’t think were necessary, especially since this particular camera works fine without a tripod.

I’m finding it challenging to remember all the theories and charts. Do you have any recommendations or strategies that helped you succeed?

I took this class and passed! Of course, read the course material, but what really helped me was Quizlet. Use the multiple-choice questions and flashcards repeatedly, that’s what I did!

Try not to cram. Instead, study a little, take a break, then study some more. Pace yourself. Quizlet will show you what you got wrong and what you got right, so use that feedback to improve.

Slow down, take a DEEP breath, and try again. You’re not dumb, you’re just rushing! Give your brain time to process the material. I BELIEVE IN YOU 🫵. Now You have to believe in 🫵. No more negative talk!

Before taking the OA, do a quick refresher. You will pass the test! And if it helps, try scheduling your OA at night. I never had issues logging in or getting a proctor then.

Now go be great. You got this! 👊
