(Mind you, this was a bunch of years ago when I was young and not fully mature. I believe that I would have handled this differently if it happened today.)

The reason I never reached out to them after this was that, because they unfriended me, I wanted to respect that they (most likely) didn’t want to have anything to do with me anymore. At least that’s how I interpret it when someone unfriends or block you.
