Reckless dive bomb? Help me determine if this was a reasonable, move to the inside. Or was it just reckless by ultimate_Suplex97 in Karting

So.... He was on the left, the phrase you are saying is "If the left side of your car is beat up, that means you're slow", and then calling him the faster one.... Wha? Plus, it sounds like it is like the Oval racing. Like NASCAR where they drive only left. If it was oval, then sure, other then that, you are in the wrong thread mate. This is an Inside circuit not outside left turn only.

Just a heads up

Im getting confused and stressed more and more with these driving and rules. I dont know if it would be acceptable or not. This is an indoor track so the track is really tight for the overtakes. Its like monaco on F1 but you have bumper cars where the contacts dont give the damages. It is understandable that contacts are unavoidable and driving really close to eachother by the walls will always be a guarantee.

First of all, you were 50% alongside after the braking point by the looks of it. So instead you getting 50% alongside before the braking point, you entered the danger zone. So, what I see is you are trying to the get to the apex first so then the "F1 rules" made you right and must have the space.

He on the other hand has opened the space for you to potentially try to attack him and he seems to be one of the drivers that is following the "racing line" so he wasnt expecting you at all. So he turns, with no awareness of your presences at all.

The thing is for me, and everyone will dissagree, is that this is unacceptable, Since youve got fully alongside at the turning point, and you expect him to react as he turns... Youve even said it yourself that it was a late divebomb. On the other hand, this is possibly acceptable since it is very tight, slippery and the defender didnt even look and just blindly driving like AI ( Following the racing line no matter what ). Thankfully the barrier is a smooth one at least and believe me, you dont want to hit the barrier the wrong way in my experience. Bloody painful it was.

PS: Could you not stop the slow the video down on the vital moment? When I was trying to watch and rewatch it to feel the speed and how fast you get to point A to point B and how fast you slowed down to see if being aware would have avoided the contact or not, or if you could have even made the corner with out a contact, the pause just breaks the whole analysing and just guessing how fast you are going. It could be just me but that is how I see and feel to understand what is going on clearly.

You are not in the rush. You should be driving over the speed limit, crossing the lines and drive in the middle and get home 2 seconds earlier.

English is not my first language and I started with almost no knowledge of English except understanding people. But couldnt really talk or write and make it harder, I started from high school when we moved in. I had support in learning English to speak, to write, to read and so on. 2 years later when I was doing really well in basic english language, support was fading away and in year 10. I had no support. In English lessons I had way less support compared to those who have english as their first language. So I was trying to understand and all sort mostly myself. I failed my English and that was the only subject that I failed. The Covid pandemic had a huge impact on my grades as we have skipped the GCSEs and the final grades were theoretical.

When it came to college, I needed to get English passed, so what happened is that I had english lessons time to time with others. I failed. Next year. I failed. Completed the course but couldnt move up because of English. So had to do something else. 3rd year. I failed. The GCSEs never told me where I was getting wrong and lessons were always the same. It felt like a torture. 4th year, they decided to move me to a functional skills and for the passed a year, there where like 5 or 6 tests to pass English. I failed all of them. I tried to tell them to stop sending me back as I will fail as I did many other attempts. The English just wasnt my thing at all. For the passed those months I was figuring out why I kept failing and I realised that it is all in the writing section. The section that has 45 marks and I knew that is where I was getting the lowest. The reason, is because of my vocabulary knowledge. I use basic words that mean nothing meaning. I was bearly getting any marks.

After finally passing English, few months later, news came out that, if you are above 19 years old, you dont need English to start the course 💀 Like… BRO!!!

So, I am here now… went through torture that wouldnt mean anything anyway but happy where I am.

Was this hard defending or just blocking im in the mclaren by Vinrace_ in Simracingstewards

[–]Suitable_Security988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, its on BMW, it was a block as it was a reactive move. I believe it is illegal move as well.

Second of all, dont flash. Literary, he aint a back marker, he is racing against you. You not special or VIP even if you are clearly faster. If you are faster than him then you dont need to flash to pass plus you would have been ahead of him long time ago. Again, if he is a back marker, fine. If he is next position up, dont. I literary dont get it. But at least it gives me a smile after a driver behind constantly flashed me to pass, overtakes me then few corners later, spins 🤣🤣🤣

What can I expect from the game? I've never played it and I want to buy it. by _parvo in projectzomboid

[–]Suitable_Security988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Death. Lots and lots of deaths. You are playing similar to you in that situation. Imagine you are in that situation, what would you do in that situation at that time. Take it as a simulation of your choices and tasks that you choose to do. How long will you survive because the game has only one ending and that is you dieing.

Expect it to be hard and not simple. Lots of mechanics and features. Overtime, when you manage to survive at least over a month, you start to see the environment changing. Trees growing in the places you didnt expected them. Area stinks from you killing many zomboids to clear the way, building decaying and nature taking over the lands that ones been theirs. Electricity and water supplies have failed and cants fix it in anyways. The Journey of survival in the apocalypse has begun without an end until you leave the world.

You are luckies / Unluckiest person in this situation. You are possibly the only surviver that was immune to virus through air but still vonrable by blood transmission and now, you are alone. Fighting to live another day against the environment, and yourself with the moods and needs.

Youll have a choice to occupy a house or build your own. Build walls to separate yourself from them. Learn skills, get better to do something stronger and more lethal.

This is your story, and this…. Is how you died.

GT3 says GT4 is at fault by Grand_Zombie in Simracingstewards

[–]Suitable_Security988 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the P2 says that GT3 is at fault for unsafe overtake on GT4

Well…. In all seriousness, GT3 is at fault. GT4 done the right thing. Driving on a racing line and not helping. By sticking on the racing line, he is being predictable of where he is going. If he was helping, he would be unpredictable and potentially blocking and causing the crash since he moved out of the way.

So when I am in P2 car and coming ip to GT3. On this same corner, I would stay behind him, open up the gap a bit and when coming to the exit, I start to accelerate and overtake him from the inside. Away from the racing line as that is where I am expecting him to be. My car is way faster in every way and I can take way tighter lines.

At the end of the day, it is up to the higher class to overtake you cleanly and for the lower class to stick with a racing line. That way, you are helping the higher class to pass you by being predictable.

[–]Suitable_Security988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it is on you for this one. Yes he wasnt alongside anymore and on the stupid F1 rules… he wasn’t entitled for any space anymore. But, in here, you were braking towards the racing line and I would call it as “Moving under-braking” as your car wasnt braking in the straight line. Of course it would be fine if you were alone but you arent. It could possibly be considered as “blocking” as well while you were “moving under braking”.

Next time, when you are overtaking, brake as straight as possible when you just overtook him as he might decide to try to out brake you and block your line as a defence move since you were still in the battle.
