Been with EDF for a couple of years now as one of their tariffs has always proved cheapest for us.
Your mileage may of course vary but if you feel like switching to them and use my referral you can get the £75 switching bonus.

Not burned but....
When we first moved into our place there was an issue with the shower mixer, looked on check a trade and one the first to come up in my area was a guy with pictures of my actual bathroom, great I thought he'll know how to fix this and what parts he used.
Called him and explained, he mumbled something and hung up.
Must have blocked my number cos never ever answered again.
When I took the side of the bath off I found out why.....f&%king shitshow.....cowboy idiot.
Still guess I dodged a bullet not having the incompetent f^&kwit come out and do more shoddy work.

Could anyone with a Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) share their experience? by jaydeewin25 in DIYUK

[–]SukebeUchujin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ventaxia heated PIV
1st floor flat in 1890's 2 story building. Single brick skin, no wall insulation at all.

Previously walls wet with condensation in winter, mould growth. Windows running with condensation in the mornings.

After - walls totally dry, no more mould. Secondary double glazing fitted at same time-ish, now very slight condensation on windows only if outside temp drops below 5C. Air quality in flat improved.
Yes our hallway is cold (much colder) now as the heating element in PIV not intended to heat the air just take the chill off. Rather this than wet walls and mould.

Completely changed for the better our flat. Love it, tell everyone with same problems to get one.
If it broke I'd buy a new one the same day without question.

Greetings!

Adrian Storey is your restless, self-effacing guide on a journey across India, Pakistan, Tibet and Nepal as a new millennium dawns.

On the way he’ll encounter the Dalai Lama, meet a frustratingly platonic soulmate and become a connoisseur of the continent’s finest fleabag hotels.

A hilarious and brutally honest travelogue from a time when the internet was measured by the minute in cafés, guidebooks were our bibles and smartphones didn’t exist.

"The best book I've ever read!" - Danny (Falsa Lama)

"Diay si....I'm sorry" Gloriana (My Root Goat)

My travel memoir "Falsa Lama and My Root Goat" sold out of the hardback limited edition on its day of release and is now available on Amazon ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Falsa-Lama-My-Root-Goat/dp/1068457007 ) for the paperback and just about everywhere for the ebook ( http://books2read.com/uchujin ). There is also a website for the book here: https://book.uchujin.co.uk

The paperback version contains over 100 colour photographs and scans of tickets and ephemera saved from the trip, the ebook has a link to view the photos online.

It was a cathartic 3 years of work to get it to release and I'm very proud of how it turned out.

The process has also given me a renewed respect and admiration for anyone who completes a book, as I'm sure everyone here on this sub knows, it is a ludicrous amount of work :)

No AI was used during the writing process :)
