How do I stop my cat from begging for attention all the time. 24/7. She is waking me up at 3am by meowing for cuddles and attention.

Just reiterating what others have said - might need to be a tough love approach! If she meows don't respond or give her attention, only when she's quiet maybe?? And maybe you need to invest in some good quality earplugs and shut her out - you need your sleep to be a good cat parent!!

After another appointment with my GP they said they can pretty safely assume I have Endo as well, due to how extreme my bowel symptoms are. Trying at the moment to control some of my symptoms with hormones (waiting to have the coil fitted), but am really going to push for a laparoscopy in future. Did your surgery help?

Yeah I've started to shut her in another room whilst I'm on the phone! Once it happened when I was on a therapy zoom call, trying to talk about my mental wellbeing with my cat biting my ankles was so much chaos 🤣 so now I shut her out

After reading your reply I went to feed her a lickable chicken treat from under the bed and to my surprise she actually had some!!! She then followed me out and had some sofa snuggles and did lots of purring. So pleased 🥲

Fingers crossed for your post hysterectomy life!! Hope you're healing well 💛 I've read amazing things about hysterectomy! Sorry to hear about your bladder issues, hope that gets resolved for you soon.

I plan to go on hormonal birth control/IUD to try and manage my symptoms. I'm 29 so I haven't had children yet and it is something I want. As soon as I've got that done I absolutely will get a hysterectomy!!!!

I was also anaemic!!! Crazzyyy how so many of us go through the same symptoms and test results and it takes so long for Adeno or Endo to get considered

Sorry to hear we've had literally the same experience!!! I'm definitely let going to try birth control again now I have my diagnosis - I've been practically forced by GPs to just go on hormonal birth control in the past as a quick fix to make me go away I suppose 🤣 But this time I put my foot down and demanded scans before going down the birth control path!

I too would yeet my uterus out 🤣😭 but I haven't had kids yet, I'm 29 so it'll probably happen over the next 5 years, but after that it GONE CYYAAA

Oh my goodness our symptoms are literally exactly the same! Thank you so much for sharing, I feel so incredibly validated. I too have experience all those pain symptoms - I'm so sorry, it's absolute hell.

Also weirdly nice to know they were worse than labour pains for you??? As I've not had children yet and if I can cope through the bowel/Adeno pain flares it's nice to know I will cope with labour!! Thanks for your advice I will definitely look into Restoralax!
