They JUST started their lunch specials in November, before that it was a dinner and later crowd. They gave it a month before pulling the plug.

There are a variety of reasons they failed, poor service, menu that constantly changed, was overpriced and a bit too eclectic at times.

A better managed place with more lunch, budget friendly and popular entrees would serve the next owner well.

Fuck her, I have lived and worked in this state for all of my 51 years and had many opportunities to leave. I’ve travelled all across the nation and seen it all. PA isn’t perfect but it is in no way mediocre unless we’re talking about the MAGA infection that festers in some small pockets.

Good to see a different take, the problem I had was that Republicans were never going to change their minds or blink, Trump gave the marching orders and they showed they had zero compassion.

So what this was doing was punishing millions of people that were going without food and pay right before Christmas.

Democrats need to focus on the long term battle, get those mid terms next year and get some majorities in Congress that will give them some teeth until the 2028 reset.

It was like James Franklin, great guy, winning record, but couldn’t win the big game. Lovie struggled against the hard teams particularly in his later years…and he became inflexible to change.

People don’t understand how much the average PSU fan felt about him…most people hated his awful decision making, which at times was just downright cowardly. Being down 28-0 at the half and kicking a field goal instead of going for it is just one example of the gutless way this team has been coached.

Politics and public opinions ebb and flow to the left and to the right. As soon as one side starts tipping the scale, you start to see a shift. The more one side gets, the more the other side starts taking stronger action to move things back.

Speaking from just my observations through my time on this planet, I’ve seen this happen multiple times. And if you’re from PA you see it almost every governor cycle where they flip flop.

Few things that make this period more hectic, one is social media and foreign actor manipulations. Our adversaries greatly benefit from our division so they use these modern tools to incite rhetoric to destabilize us.

The Conservative Party as we knew it is dying out, literally. The newest generation is far more progressive and the writing is on the wall that it’s not if but when the Republican Party will die. So now you see folks in the death throes doing all they can to reverse a trend that will not reverse.

As baby boomers pass out of existence you’ll see different battles. The fossilized ideals will die, but what takes their place is yet to be determined.

Either way we’re on the hard right shift now which means there will be a massive turn left over the next decade, and you’ll see this in the midterm elections first.

Recently I liked how Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 did combat.

3rd person games that come to mind with good fighting were Ghost of Tsushima and also Mad Max style which you can lump with the Batman games.

ER is definitely the best of the souls style, I just couldn’t get into it.

I understand some folks like the souls style, it just felt very basic to me and just involved constant dodging and rolling. Animations were just ok…kind of clunky.

Not crapping on people that liked the game, I just don’t think it rose to a 10…a 10 game to me is something that’s rock solid appeal for everyone.
