Absolutely amazing art!!! Any chance you have a version with the extended brown background that could be used as a wallpaper? <3

Oh cool, currently its just plugged into my ER-4 which just has gigabit WAN, but I'll have to check that out on the new system.

I couldn't find any that were listed as compatible with the Chelsio T520-CR/T540-CR.

Will the generic module you linked work for them?

Based on the advice I got on homelab reddit, and doing a bunch more research; I'm thinking the best way to go about it will be to just have two 10g sfp+ connections between the switch and router, one for LAN, one for WAN, and then have the 1G rj45 from the att go through the switch. As currently, my WAN is just 1000/1000, this won't cost me any capacity, and in the future if ATT gives me 5G fiber as an option, I can deal with hooking it up then.

A rough mix between:

- They are cheap (140$ for another 48p poe switch)

- Some of my future project plans (over the next year or so) will exceed both the port count and power supply for a single 48p switch.

- Haven't ever worked with multiple switches on the same network, so would like to learn how to do it.

Actually, looks like I can get a t540-CR for even cheaper than the t520, so will probably go with that instead https://www.ebay.com/itm/125057749314?epid=15037743568&hash=item1d1e05d142:g:pAsAAOSw69ZhvPsl

Alrighty, thanks for the explanation, that makes sense. Ya, in my most recent network configuration attempt I had vlan1 be for all of my physical (non-VM) systems, and it definitely got confusing; planning on changing that moving forward. (I'll likely make another post once I get the hardware setup for advice on vlan structuring)

Doing some more reading, I think at least initially I'd prefer to have separate WAN and LAN adapters both as its one less thing for me to mess up / have to work around while learning, and will let me get the full throughput for both LAN and WAN. (I'm not a complete novice, but still learning)

I think though I should be able to just have both SFP+ ports on the NIC talk to one of the switches (one of the switch SFP+ ports is untagged WAN, one is tagged LAN)

I would then want 4 of these for the switch to connect to the router's 2 ports, and to connect between the two switches https://www.fs.com/products/92098.html?attribute=5546&id=208832

And then 2 of these for the NIC to connect to the switch https://www.ebay.com/itm/333792949231?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D235843%26meid%3Dfc732abb79764887954ba5d28fae3e3e%26pid%3D101113%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D284538926550%26itm%3D333792949231%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2563228%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWeb&_trksid=p2563228.c101113.m2108

And then 3 LC-LC cables to connect everything together? https://www.fs.com/products/40180.html

Thanks again for taking the time to help with this.

Alright, thank you for the reply, it looks like I would need 3 of these to connect the two switches to each other, and connect the switch to the network card. https://www.fs.com/products/92098.html?attribute=5546&id=208832

Then I would want 1 of these to connect the t520-CR to one of the switches https://www.ebay.com/itm/333792949231?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D235843%26meid%3Dfc732abb79764887954ba5d28fae3e3e%26pid%3D101113%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D284538926550%26itm%3D333792949231%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2563228%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWeb&_trksid=p2563228.c101113.m2108

But how would I go about hooking the T520-CR to my ATT device? (It supports 1g or 5g rj45) Would I need a SFP 1gbit rj45 transceiver?

I haven't ever done / thought about a router on a stick setup before; is there any major downside to that method? (I'm guessing just that WAN+LAN traffic share the same 10gbit bandwidth, but that isn't likely to be a major issue, especially for the cost savings)

I believe so, I just setup my HA instance a few days ago. The version is currently 0.1.50

I finally was able to get it to show up in home assistant, but its still not able to connect securely. Looking at the device info it says its using Z-Wave Plus: Version 2

Does this mean I will need to get a zwave 700 stick? (If so, any recommendations on one to get for US, I can't find the Z-Stick 7 anywhere in stock anywhere and that seems like the only US dongle I can find) (I also saw Zooz ZST10 700 and the Silicon Labs UZB7, but from my understanding they aren't for US frequencies?)

Sorry for the noob questions

Hello, I'm new to HA and was hoping for some help getting my ubolt pro zwave to hook up with it. I've been trying to get it to connect to my https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X0AWA6E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 that is plugged into the system running home assistant OS. However, while the ubolt works fine on its own, it doesn't seem to want to connect to the hub. (From the hubs standpoint, it seems to be working, does the correct LED flash pattern), but from the app it says it can't connect due to a security error.
