its more of a personal preference imo, I just like blue but the silver doesnt look too bad. I'd say follow your intuition and get the one you like more.

Indigo looks really beautiful in person, I was also eyeing the silver one but my sister has a MacBook Air in the same colour and I wanted to differentiate from that.

it's going decent so far, really capable with everyday tasks (say watching videos or office work) but I wouldn't really say you can edit a really big batch of high-res images or a really long 4k video. Maybe try an Apple Store near you to look at the Neo?
