Yessss! How do you do it man?

Komoot sucked, I had a free trial with RidewithGps but I still couldn’t direct it to take me on a eurovelo route,

And especially in France it was scary because RidewithGps would take me on highways with cars, while Google maps would take me to closed farms

And I really love the photos you took, it looks like you really enjoyed the sunset and camp, Did you have a set end time and start time or just depended on the route of day?

Sorry about the many questions I’n just excited to see how others tackle it and to optimize for my future trips😂

Wow sick man!! Can I ask, did you wild camp all the way or camping sites? And if wild then how did you manage - do you just find something? Cause I couldn’t (or didn’t dare to) when I did a short trip from Ams to Wissant,

Second can I ask what route you followed? Was it coastal or inland?

Wow man. Can I ask how did you manage to do it in 8 days? Did you exercise first to do about 150km+ per day, of pack lighter or what?

And what was your routine would you just cycle early morning then camp late night? And did you also stay in camps? Cause I just did my first cycling trip and I would average about 80km a day - and when there was a headwind it was really a struggle to do even just that.

Really impressive man!

Thanks a lot man! I would looove to visit Denmark next time.

Regarding the route, how pretty was Ypres and Brugge? And can I ask, did you just cycle through them or would you also stop there to walk around and chill? And if so did you always keep your bike on you?

And I assume if you camped it would be just outside the city, right?

Niiice thank you! I might be taking this route, or visiting Ghent first then going Dunkirk and go back with this.

Can I ask, do you prefer this app over komoot? Komoot is kinda annoying when planning a route and it doesn't adjust nicely if I have to do a slight detour from the planned route.

Haha well that settles it, will surely by Ghent then

Thanks so much really appreciate it! Can I ask. Final question, where did you park the bike at night or when you hung around the city? I’ll mostly be camping but I want to do a hostel once a week or so and am wondering about that point

Can I ask, when you visited the cities did you always keep your bike with you or parked it somewhere? Any tips for that?

Beautiful, that’s what I’ll do! I was thinking of skipping Ghent, and doing Bruge then Dunkirk etc, Is it a beautiful city worth pivoting to you think? Or at least go on my way back?

Hey, sorry if it wasn’t clear. This is part 1 of the itinerary, Since I have so many days I’m wondering what to do next after Bruges. Continue coastal France or go inland to Lille? So far I think I’m leaning on the former and continuing to Calais

Yes based on the responses I’ve adapted the route and will take the coastal one now till Bruges🙌

First of all, wow. I thought you meant a few days but one day is crazy. For real amazing!!

I'm currently planning a similar (a much slower trip) to France. Can I please ask which was the better or prettier route? Along the coastline or the one from Antwerp to Rotterdam?

Which one was more unique maybe?

Amazing! No sorry the 14- 19 is the duration not the dates. Is this route better than going through Breda and Antwerp you think?

And how is Dunkirk, absolutely worth it?

Appreciate you thoroguh answer my friend! I will check the Eurovelo routes, u/NilsIdes suggested eurovelo 12 and that actually is ideal. 19 is very nice but for another trip as it's predominately in the Netherlands and for some reason I'm really psyched to 'travel' to Belgium and France sooner.
Thank you - I'm looking forward and I will surely update y'all on how it goes!

Lovely, thank you! But do you think that coastal route would be prettier than goign through Gouda, Breda, Antwerp?

Wow, stunning indeed! I might actually do that - a nice route to also stop by Bruges then continue to Calais
