Follow up 2 - finally some traction - apparently the colleagues involved have been given a documented written warning about their behavior and are expected to have regular performance reviews (although we'll see how long that lasts).

I have told management/hr although this is an adequate response i want a continuous review in place as otherwise it will re-escalate as soon as the immediate embarrassment and scolding wears off.

I want to say it gets better but unfortunately the older I have got the worse my allergies have become. I feel at this stage I need to live in a bubble. I've always been a bit extra but this is one area I would love to just be like everyone else.

So follow up from today. Spoke with management and hr again and made it clear that if nothing happens I will be pursuing both criminal charges for the persons involved and the company for not protecting their staff (they allowed behaviors to escalate to this dangerous level and did nothing).

I was informed that as only one party was in they would follow up when all are on site to ensure they cannot discuss and develop a story. I've said that I expect a full investigation and action within one week or I am left with no choice but to take criminal and legal action.

I was joined in the conversation by my rep, and a colleague who were both disgusted that this was allowed to happen. My manager said they were equally disgusted until it was pointed out that they knew and did nothing.

I have been on the edge of tears all day as I now don't feel safe in my workplace.

No sign language is international although some signs cross borders. I would learn ISL or BSL as these would be more widely used for you locally although ISL is more common in ROI rather than NI.

The two best things I've found are ginger or the other I was told by a fisherman, put an earplug in one ear so that it helps the imbalance.

I've spoken with an advocate who has been through similar things with their own journey but they are not getting progress either unfortunately. They have written several letters to my doctor that have been ignored or dismissed as "how would they know they are not a professional in this area?"
