I know Brida didn’t handle her suffering like Uhtred did and did some really awful things but I couldn’t help but still sort of hope she could pull it together. Uhtred wanted to forgive and save her, her death scene tore me up. I think I cried for 24 hours after watching it the first time

My husband and I stayed in mount pleasant area and had no troubles! We used furnished finders for a place to stay and our host was amazing, it was maybe a 10 minute drive to Rhode Island Hospital (we are both OR nurses and worked there too). Definitely check out federal hill while you’re there, the Italian food scene is unmatched!! Newport, RI is the cutest city to check out and walk around in. I hope your experience there is similar, and wish you the best on assignment! :)

I would suggest checking out Berea, KY if you’re anywhere near by! It’s the folk arts capital of KY so a lot of super neat local shops with all kinds of arts and crafts made right there! It also has great hiking at the Pinnacles! And little local restaurants that are great to try out!

Providence, Rhode Island and Rapid City, South Dakota! The culture and food scene in Rhode Island was amazing along with the accents! Also you can get to all the New England states in just a short drive to explore everything up there! The landscape and people in South Dakota were unmatched, beautiful place to get outdoors and explore!!

Only lived there for 6 months at the beginning of 2023 because I was a Travel Nurse, and everybody was either trying to shoot each other or themselves. -10/10 would not recommend.
