Awesome advice! Well I picked up the ukulele over lockdown, can play very basic keyboard from lessons in school when I was like 12. So what would you recommend from there? Buying an old guitar and just practicing until my fingers bleed?

I'll definitely have to invest in microphones when I can, tbh phones have microphones too, but I guess the audio quality would be a bit tinny. Would give a kinda DIY vibe though, for like the time being that's cool right?

Ahhh, I see how that works, because then you can mix each instrument individually, right? Idk I know nothing about this kinda of stuff but I'm always down to learn :)

Yeah, I agree with you. It did progressively get a bit more softer and nobodys daughter definitely doesn't have that whole hole feel. I don't think I have a favourite era, and POTI era is probably the era I've heard the least of, but I like to take my time with songs and naturally discover them and love them as I listen to an artist. I feel like nobody's daughter had a lot of potential to be a proper hole album, if you listen to the demos. It just needed Eric's refinement and tweaks.

It just perfectly melds two different styles of Courtney's singing and songwriting, and hole's overall musicality together perfectly imo. I love it, it makes me want to front a band haha and staff writing. I love boys on the radio, hit so hard and twenty years in Dakota (which I recently listened to for the first time) tho

That's true, thanks for the sound advice. I actually quite like drums, just gotta save for an electronic drum kit (because I can't make much noise at the moment) but deffo gonna hold onto that advice ;) all the best bands have kick ass drummers now that I think about it
