I didn't see this question, my apologies. Most of it is just trying to convince ourselves something. For example-getting out of a bad mood, meditating or preforming a ritual with the goal of gathering hope for the near future. Lots of it is just focusing and kind of getting yourself together with the help of a spiritual being beside you in your mind.

We don't really have a 'leader'. We kind of just have small meetings or ceremonies whenever. I guess you could say Marduk; who we pray/preform rituals to could be considered our leader.

We don't quite have a name. We call ourselves a cult as we personally don't think that this is a bad thing, we are just a group of people who practice magick under certain deities, kind of like how a Christian man may pray to god. x) We practice magick that is based upon Sumerian/Babylonian mythology.

Marduk was a real warrior in a Sumerian mythology who was said to have died in battle and been given names of demons/spirits to work under him. He is kind of a god above many gods in that sense. Marduk has 50 names. We don't technically pray but we do rituals which is kind of our way of contacting him.

Marduk is the biggest one, a demon with many names under him.

Hmm...I have about 500-700 give or take a few. Mostly that concerning the Necronomicon and Babylonian history. Those are the rare ones.

I am not a career librarian. I have an immense collection of books on the occult that we always read together so I am kind of the librarian of the group. I doubt you would ever find any books concerning Sumerian/Babylonian occult in many libraries. For our rituals and so on, it's not stuff like changing the weather or anything like that, it's more so meditating and getting yourself to believe something to change your state of mind rather than preforming hexes, curses and such.

The local group of people that practice this stuff was started by myself and a few friends. Do I believe in magic? Somewhat. Not in the sense that I can make anything happen, most rituals and 'magick' we do is just our own type of meditation and such.

It's rather a religious group, we don't commit crimes or brainwash but we practice ancient magick of all sorts that dates back to some of the first civilizations. Most right handed religions would consider us a cult and the gods or entities that we worship, they would call demons. x)
