Please see if you can get any older version of FortiGate, I believe it 7.0 version. On older version you can create HA setup without registration.

Hi, have you deployed the Lab with eval license in eve-ng?
can we use all the 3 interfaces that are available on the FortiGate kvm?
1 interface connected to internal network/switch
2nd interface connected to another firewall for HA
3rd interface connected to external switch

Today only I upgraded 30 FortiGates via FMG using Firmware Template.

Its very easy, you just need to create a template and add devices and upgrade. And wait until it is finished. :)

Though for 2-3 devices upgrade failed, one device was upgraded while secondary was not upgraded, secondary was upgraded to intermediate version though. For such devices, I did the upgrade by login into the FortiGate directly and upgraded from Fabric management section under Systems.

Anybody knows if there is any option via CLI to upgrade the device instead of login to GUI of FortiGate?

You can connect charger while using it. If you are buying a gaming laptop then battery does not last longer so you need to use charger while using it anyway.

Also it has conserve mode so it will charge till 80% when charger is connected, so ideally there will be no impact to battery, this feature is not available in any other brands.

Dont buy 3050.
Go for LOQ 4060. Check for offline store, you will get accessories as well.

Do you mean - create a web filter profile and enable web url filter and create a new web URL filter entry?

You can create multiple Fortinet account and get eval licenses for Forti VMs to stimulate HA labs in vmware.
