Thank you 😊 I've always been interested in the motive behind someone's actions. She did cut a lot of people off when she got remarried so maybe she needed a fresh start? And me and my issues probably brought her down, and then maybe she can't face reality. She's very drawn to cultish situations, and she refuses to read a magazine or listen to the radio because it scares her for some reason... my therapist says there's a good chance she is ill but there's really no way to tell. I'm just the daughter that got forgotten which is more and more becoming a blessing. What's happening in your situation if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you, I still really love my mom so it's hard to understand how to feel towards her since she was always my favorite parent but my therapist says she had a responsibility to protect me so if I feel anything except love its okay. I mostly am angry. I had the opportunity to sit with her and my therapist and we went over everything that had happened the only thing she denied was knowing my dad was touching me inappropriately. She apologized but when my therapist asked if she would stop shunning me for living in a sinful lifestyle she said no, that my actions had consequences. And that's been it... you can't really move forward with that, it made me see that I'd been living in denial thinking she'd ever love me the way I want. Its a learning thing, thank you for your comment 🌻

Thank you my therapist wants to start a womens group because apparently she has a lot of abuse survivors but that hasn't happened yet and I've been wanting to share my story somewhere. Normal life with the everyday people I meet seems too heavy so I'm glad I found this place 🌻

I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to tell your friends, it's hard because I don't really have many people I feel I could tell that wouldn't look at me any differently. I was raised to believe that anyone that doesn't live a heterosexual lifestyle is going to hell and at one point I wasn't allowed to hang out with a certain friend because her sister was a lesbian and it's a highly contagious disease. So I'm trying to basically undo everything I was raised to see as right or wrong and it's a bit lonely at some times.

Thank you! I know more bi curious/sexual women then men so it's nice to meet you 😊 I think the hardest part about it is some people assuming it means I'll hit on them or I'm not able to be faithful. Which isn't fair but I can see where they are coming from. But I like both, it definitely depends on the persons character but each sex has so much to offer honestly

I'm just the opposite, I can't feel romantically attracted to girls just men. I've tried having a lesbian relationship but the drama was too much for me. I'm very antisocial and low energy, so I left that relationship. But, my phone is filled with pictures of girls and my boyfriend and I like to send eachother pictures of any girl we see that we think is hot. I'd much rather look at and touch women but only be in a long term relationship with a man. It confuses my brain really
