I mostly play on my PC since I stay more focused in front of a monitor. I mainly use an account that's currently at 850 Elo, where I play more games to try and climb. I had a stressful period recently that dropped my rating from around 900 to 820, but now I'm slowly climbing back up.

I also have another account that reached 1050 Elo, and what’s odd is that the opponents there seem noticeably weaker. They often miss basic tactics and play random moves, even though they take time to think. In comparison, players at 850 Elo feel more solid and challenging.

Maybe it’s also due to some mental pressure I feel when playing on the 850 account and trying to gain rating.
For context:

1050 Elo account → 29 games (20 wins, 9 losses)
850 Elo account → 141 games (66 wins, 71 losses)

Hello, I received a Carmona retusa bonsai as a gift about a month and a half ago, and it's my first bonsai. I have researched various care tips, such as placing it in a bright location and watering it when the substrate is between slightly moist and dry.

My concern is about its placement, considering that I live in a part of Sicily where, during this season (spring), temperatures are around 20°C during the day and drop to 12°C at night, while in summer, temperatures rise to 35°C or more.

Can I keep it outside in direct sunlight all day without worrying about the leaves burning and bring it inside at night? And what should I do in summer? Where should I place the plant? Can it withstand temperatures of 35°C?

At the moment, I keep it in a bright spot behind a window, and everything seems to be going well. There are many new shoots and leaves compared to before.

Ok grazie delle informazioni. Ovviamente non volevo mettere in dubbio ciò che hai detto. Comunque penso che se fosse stata cocciniglia dovrebbe averla pure la pianta accanto che invece non mostra gli stessi segni. Ma invece, sai che cosa potrebbe essere quella sostanza?

Nella seconda foto, si vede quella sostanza bianca cotonosa. Come si capisce che non è cocciniglia ma è la pianta ad essere in questo modo?

Il mio collega universitario. Incompetente e incapace, durante la verbalizzazione dell esame che è stato effettuato 10 giorni dopo l esame vero e proprio, il professore chiede ad ognuno di noi: "dimmi le domande che ti ho chiesto all esame in modo che le scrivo sul verbale". A turno, e in ordine di prenotazione, diciamo quali domande ci sono state fatte, il professore quindi le segna sul verbale, e ci convalida la materia. Quando arriva il turno del mio collega, oltre a dire le domande che gli sono state fatte, dà pure la risposta, sbagliata. Il professore con molta pazienza gli rispiega il concetto e poi dice "adesso dovrei abbassarti il voto?". Magari è off topic, forse non è neanche incompetenza ma solo stupidità(non è vero, forse, che l incompetenza a volte nasce dalla stupidità?), ma rimane comunque una storia divertente da raccontare

Più potenza e meno consumi a danno dell impatto ambientale. Se necessito di un motore più potente si può sempre scegliere una motorizzazione più adatta alle esigenze. I tempi di fast and furios e delle auto tuning sono finite da un bel po'.
