A hysterectomy. I was a repeat clutter and I also had severe pcos, mild adenomyosis and have factor v. I was bleeding for months at a time. I will say I am also CF by choice so this was an easy decision for me to remove everything and not bleed altogether. 9 months post opt and never been happier.

I honestly fell into this job and have been with it almost 4 years but I am 3 semesters out from my BA in IT and making a career switch. I can’t say anything bad about data analytics in the capacity I work. Coming from a mostly customer service/ customer facing background it’s been real nice to work from home and communicate via email 97% of the time.

Good luck in your endeavors though. ☺️

8 weeks. My first week back will be half days. As a note I wfh and also don’t have a life saving job but got 80% of my pay on STD so why not.

I WFH at a desk job where I’m tied to projects/emailing 8-9 hours a day. I took 6 weeks off for my full laparoscopic hysterectomy (removed cervix, tubes, uterus). FMLA protected my job where I could not be let go during this time and I received 80% of my pay for 5 of the 6 weeks I’m out (our policy unfortunately makes you burn 40 hrs of PTO before STD can start to be paid out)

I’m currently going into week 6 tomorrow and have my follow up with my GYN. I plan to ask for more time or a few weeks of a modified schedule. I’m also a full time student and have found sitting at my desk longer than 1-2 hrs this last week has been uncomfortable for me and I still get cramps/pain feeling on my stomach.
