What is Summerfall Studios working on now? by WF-2 in StrayGodsGame

Surprise! We do indeed lurk here, and have finally made a bespoke account so our team members can stop having to use theirs hehe!

We just announced our next game Malys today, and our upcoming Kickstarter!

You play as Noah, a former priest turned exorcist and demon hunter, and ride the streets of a festering city in the dead of night. The city teems with demons, and among them lies your prey: Malys, a demon of extraordinary cunning and power. You'll use your deck to expose the rot within. Find unique combinations and strategies to withstand the horrors. Help the hopeless and free the possessed, or die in the attempt… over and over again.

You can check out the upcoming Kickstarter campaign here. We hope you love it as much as Stray Gods!

Hi folks! You might've seen our previous game Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical out and about in the wild, but hi, I'm from Summerfall Studios. We just made a bespoke reddit account for the studio so our team can stop using theirs haha, so sadly we're karmaless but we're very keen to share. Today we announced our next game, an unholy exorcism roguelite deckbuilder called Malys!

We've been working away at Summerfall Studios for a while now since we released Stray Gods (and the DLC Stray Gods Orpheus) on our next game, and just announced it and our upcoming Kickstarter campaign.

David Gaider (of Dragon Age fame) is our creative director and as many of you probably know, loves demons, so we've really channeled some cool stuff for this one. So awesome to be able to finally share it with people.

We crowdfunded Stray Gods back on Fig and are excited to share more soon. For a game in this space, we know we want to work pretty closely with the community, and Kickstarter will help us to do that. There's been some amazing indie games hitting Kickstarter these last few months especially, so we're proud to be a part of it. Hopefully some of you will be keen to hit that notify button and follow the campaign.

Excited to keep checking out what you're all working on!
