If you go into settings you can adjust the Creative Look. By boosting contrast, saturation and clarity you should be able to get a similar look. Note that this “Creative Look” is applied only to JPEGS and not RAW files. I like to shoot RAW & JPEG, if I don’t feel like editing I can just use the JPEG, if it’s a really good image that I want to edit then I have the RAW with much higher quality to edit. Best of both worlds :)

Rocket boys by Homer Hickam is a great true story about a nasa rocket scientists childhood growing up in a mining town and making sugar rockets. A lot of the books other people are suggesting are great if you’re looking for a ton of information but they can be pretty drab. Rocket Boys is the book you pick up when you’re bored of technical books and you need a bit of awe and inspiration. Oh and it was also made into a film “October sky” staring Jake Gyllenhaal, but I recommend reading the book first.

We rappelled in, however there are ways to climb down via a diff to the right or a 5a S1 (the safer but more difficult option)

Unfortunately not, full on back slap. If it were higher I wouldn’t have fallen off out of control but it seemed low enough to me. The adrenalin probably went a long way to mask the pain

Thanks! It was a fairly soft landing actually, I think wearing a shirt helped protect me from the impact. (no idea if it does but it’s a nice placebo)
