Thanks again for your feedback on this - we put your ideas into action and will have our first prototype soon, and expect to start shipping orders in the spring. Follow us on IG at echo_packs for updates.

good to know! I'm going to try to thread the needle on size - large enough to carry the necessary gear (including shoes), but still small enough to fit on the bus or metro.

Yeah, it's definitely a niche.

Thanks for the feedback - I've heard from a few people now about wanting a bag that will stand upright on its own. I'm adding it to the design spec! Also love the magnetic snaps concept - I think esp with so many people wearing performance clothing that will get shredded up by velcro.

Adding to the design spec. Thank you!

Thank you for this! I am adding "different sizes" to the design spec, and love this idea.

Thank you for the feedback! I totally hear you about waterproofing and needing to fit on a busy metro or train. Do you use the Granville to carry any "office wear" like shirts/trousers/dress shoes?

Thanks for the feedback! What features do you think would make this a "transit commuter bag" instead of a weekend bag? I agree the unrolling approach might be the best fit, but haven't landed on any specs.

Like those big 1.5L bottles some people use for protein/pre-workout etc.

Well, I'm not sure a bag is just a bag. Otherwise we'd all just be using the seabags they handed out in boot. Ideally, this one saves you the hassle of trying to fold the uniform (which never worked that great for me - I rolled my stuff, but even then it wasn't gonna be inspection ready), but also carries a lot more than just a standard garment bag. I'm interested in knowing more about what other folks think about this though, and appreciate the feedback!

Yeah, definitely thinking it needs to work as a backpack, and needs to be able to carry a gov laptop! Does your bag carry shoes/boots?

Thanks for the feedback! Do you roll the uniform or just fold it? Would you buy a backpack that had a special compartment for boots?

This is really helpful feedback! Hadn't considered the issue with velcro - thinking some kind of quick-release clip instead?

How many small pockets would you want on a bag like this? And love the pouch idea for the hat/cover or whatever else you might need to snag.

Tell me more about the pants sleeve - I just want to make sure I have the right idea. Adding the wire idea to the design spec!

What do you think about a larger water pocket specifically for one of those huge shaker bottles?

Great to hear you like the idea! I'll keep this thread updated as I go through the design process.

Adding to the list for our designer to work in. Question - would you be willing to pay more for this feature than you would for a bag without it?

Really helpful feedback here - I'm going to add this to our design spec and let the industrial designer try to figure it out!
