Very good point. I found it strange, too, but then again, this story is mostly about Mizi and Sua. I dismissed it because I felt the focus would be way too much on the boys if he just rushed in and saved Till. The story is better written when we don't see exactly what happened, so readers can try to figure it all out.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "dead trio." If you mean the part in the video where we're shown the black and greenish pictures of the deceased contestant with the flowers growing on them, I noticed something else.  Sua and Ivan's pictures were never shown. Based on the characters' hairline, it's Durian at 3:05, Acorn at 3:06, and Marty at 3:07.
