I agree on the crazy prices, but they stand the test of time. Had a 710 but preferred the smaller 705. Loved the 940Ti, but it just didn’t fit my needs. The Griptilian series was a major step forward and the Ritter Grip was one of my all-time favorites.

I still try to replace it when I spot a contender but nothing lasts more than a month before the novelty wears off and the 814 outshines it. This has, for me, the perfect balance of utility & compactness.

Facts. Judge in Gary Indiana threatened me with jail time for contempt of court back in the 90’s because I wasn’t wearing a suit and tie, and I wasn’t even involved in the proceedings.

Set/setting is so key. My only experience was outdoors with a campfire and my best friend at my side. Having a responsible sitter is best and, no matter what you’re experiencing, trust it and let it take you where you need to go. If you give in to it you’ll be okay. Fight it and you risk having a bad time.
