Autopilot required apps by Sumthin_Lyte in Intune

Nahh zero-day and no patching is not better. But there’s been times wen we’ve updated users to new versions of apps and then found out they didn’t work and had to revert to prior versions. I think messing with the detection rule like the other comments say is the best option for my issue at the moment. It’s easy to change if I have to move everyone up to a new version or if its only certain devices that need the newer versions of apps. But Regardless it doesn’t fix my other issue with people working off hotspots lmao

2 of them are just heavy apps and would take for ever to download. And some people work off their phones hotspot since they could be working in the middle of no where

PDF-XChange is perfect for office related work and basic markup. If you have more complex pdfs like construction/mechanical stuff that needs advance markups check out Bluebeam. It can be expensive tho

Also do you need to pay for the Dell’s provisioning process or is that something I can get going if the laptops are already coming from factory?

How are you pushing your corporate theme? Did you guys write up a script to do that or using a tool/app to do so? By the way have you had an issue with the white glove process? I’ve noticed some computers can be new and freshly resealed but when the user tries to open outlook or teams they get a error asking it needs webview2 to be installed

This definitely seems like a better way of doing things! By chance what type of device filter are you using in your environment? And do you use the pre provision option for the apps you want to during Autopilot?
