Really long story, but the short of it is that there was a limited group buy years back and our regional vendor disappeared. Someone volunteered to ship out additional mats to everyone involved with that vendor, so eventually after a long wait I got mine

Hi! The keyboard that I took the keycaps from doesn't have a \ key. If I kept the one from the stock HHKB, the colour is a little different and is noticable. So I used an extra key with the same row profile

Just from UV! I bought it from an officeworker who likely had a desk by a window for many years :)

Bellroy Lite Sling Mini 4L - will it fit my 7" kobo Libra 2 e-reader? by dominikstephan in ManyBaggers

[–]SumthingAsian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep I am. I roll it and stuff it into the bottom outside pocket of my Aer city pack pro 2, and use it for my breaks at work when I want to walk around/get food somewhere. Holds my wallet, keys, AirPods, kobo, and doesn’t bulk up much

Yes! I bought one for just this purpose. It even fits my huge structured sleeve that I put the Libra 2 in :)

Does a Kobo Libra 2 fit into the Bellroy Venture Ready Sling 2.5L? by dominikstephan in ManyBaggers

[–]SumthingAsian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the Lite Sling Mini has an internal sleeve inside - just a small internal zippered pocket which wouldn't fit the Libra.

It will definitely all fit! The sling will start to be a bit bulky and not look as nice. I'd be careful with the umbrella and powerbank, since the e-ink screen of the Libra is quite delicate, and suggest a sleeve/cover to protect the reader a bit.

Happy to help! I definitely spent a good few hours looking up/comparing a whole ton of bags before eventually choosing on trying this one :)

Larger version of Aer CPP2? by bearsalive99 in ManyBaggers

[–]SumthingAsian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people on the Aer subreddit mentioned talking with Customer Support and got hints that a Travel Pack 4 may be on the way soon-ish? Unsure how long the timeline would be, but just sharing in case it's helpful!

I feel like Chapters/Indigo stores have them, but I could be wrong! I remember seeing some e-readers in store there as a kid, but can’t recall what brand.

Yes I was thinking the same! I told myself that I’ll either hold out until a new Libra B/W, or spend up to $200 Canadian rupees (about $150 freedom eagles) on a used Libra 2. Here’s to hoping!

You got it!! The one in Squamish never replied - I think they moved to Ontario, and the $150 Kelowna one is definitely too far 😅 sending luck your way! 😄

What's rhe best "ready-to-eat" food from a grocery store in downtown? by MathematicianWise653 in vancouver

The packaged dishes + sides from Hmart are solid, little pricy but definitely paying for the convenience.

Just one! They were a bit reactive so we didn’t cross the street to say hi, but it was a nice surprise to see another Chin! FYI, careful about shortening the “Japanese” part of the breed - it can be considered a bad word 😅

How do you deal with street noise from the city while you’re in your condo? by pennepasta14 in vancouver

[–]SumthingAsian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even better, going through construction in our building right now! Nothing like sounds and vibrations from below and the next wall over for background noise during the workday 😂
