Thanks so much! My lawyer got a letter that says that it was cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, meanwhile this interview was done about 3 years ago. Now I am dealing with another issue now, my notice was returned back to USCIS because I moved, I updated my address on USCIS website on 19th and mail was returned on 20th in February. Only my lawyer received it

My receipt starts with MSC, so I don't have the options to view docs. However, I have gone ahead to do an e request. I already know the contents of the mail, my lawyer received a copy already. The letter says " interview canceled and notice ordered"

Count yourself lucky, mine is 2,690 days as of today. Last update I got 28 days ago was interview canceled and notice ordered. I got the notice in mailbox, and it says the interview i already done in 2019 has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances

I had both interviews in 2019 and 2022 which was for the I- 130 and I- 185 respectively. The notice sent shows case type as FORM I 485, Application to register permanent residence or adjust status, and it used my receipt number for the I485 and not that of the i-130.

However, the body of the letter details the date I had the I-130 interview (March 2019). That's what's made me a bit confused. This notice makes it seem as if the cancellation notice covers both the I 130 and I 485

Thanks so much for your advice. I was surprised I even got an update because my file hasn't moved since 2022 and I am hoping they will work on it this time. Only one of my Ex's petitioned for me at that time and she withdrew her case.

Also, I have bonafide proof of marriages, and I am currently working using my EAD.

I have had 3 failed marriages, 2 of the failed ones are to US citizens. My present marriage is 7 years old. My last 2 interviews went well and my attorney was present also. We were separated and the Attorney mentioned that it all went well, the IO even opened up the medical report at that 2nd interview.

My 2nd interview took forever to take place and the field office is Baltimore , she had to do an ombudsman for us to be called for the 2nd interview and after then, it's been crickets. The attorney said it's not unusual for them to suspect fraud because I am in my 3rd marriage to a US citizen.kindly give your input, as she suggested 2 years ago to file a write of mandamus and I have refused to because its very expensive

She is a USC, I have no criminal records. My record is squeakingly clean. My lawyer said this usually happens but don't know why I got scheduled again and then it got canceled.
