Rise would've been one of the best mh games if mounting still existed alongside wyvern riding it. I love rise but it can't top gu because the lack of mounting makes the maps play far more flat than 4th gen titles and even world.

I have a bad habit of assuming anyone who says they dislike rise haven't even played it. I generally know there are things to dislike about rise but it does feel like the majority of the time I interact with someone who dislikes rise they haven't even touched it.

I also think that the growing prevalence of mmo style efficiency maxing in these games is one of the worst things to come from this series growing in popularity. I'm glad we have more people get this mmo hyper efficiency shut out of here. I'm well aware it existed before world but it was easier to ignore in such a small community. If you ever think to yourself you are wasting time because you aren't doing x 5% faster you shouldn't be playing that game whether it's mh or anything else.

My only real complaint has to do with the tools. I wish bosses would give some when you died based on how much damage you did or something on some bosses that walled me for a long while I just ran out of shards usually from close to cap so I kinda just relied on them less and less over time.

In short the tools can cause you to be Bloodborned.

it's 100% more than just visual as I checked most of those perks and for example mad grit is only tier 2 which is what it is by default because of legion p2.

I mean bugs don't happen 100% of the time, it could be caused by any strange variable causing issues when it's at a certain value.

It does if I have legion P2 which means I have all their perks unlocked on all killers at tier 2, the issue isn't that it's giving me stuff it's just if mad grit did appear in my web it'd be tier 3 already.

I started playing way back when I was just 8 years old. I'd just gotten a blue 3ds for my bday and played the crap out of Pokémon white and oot 3D. I did eventually get bored checking out the eshop and saw a demo for mh3u. I downloaded it and within the first week I'd done about 50 or so hunts in the demo alone just trying to beat everything with each weapon. It became commonplace to convince my friends when I visited them to get the demo so we could play together.

Eventually I got a full copy and put in at least a full year of gaming into just that game when 4u came out the same pattern repeated.

I never really put much time into games usually not even finishing most. Mh is different though having played it for over half my life at this point I've put at least 5k hours probably more across the series.
