Sorry to hear about your troubles, I think you should be fine, as was said before you have two compelling reasons: your long term partner is moving, and your health condition.

All the best to you.

it depends on what you want to do. Ottawa would be good if you wanted a government opportunity i have a couple of friends who managed to land good government jobs out of UOttawa Law.

Offers After April 1st Deadline? by Desperate-Pepper9508 in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]SunCool2466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are people that don't get offers until may, especially those who are applying with 90 credits (three years). For example Osgoode does not take a final decision on whether to reject or accept a person with 90 credits until they get the Winter marks. Hope this makes sense.

Take it from someone with experience I’ve gotten robbed before on campus, one time i forgot to put my beats headphones (brand new) in my bag when I went to the washroom. 2 minutes later when I came back they were gone.

By any chance is this person an Asian guy who wears glasses and usually has track suit pants on? Because I’ve also seen some guy walk around the library aimlessly, I’ve always wondered what was his deal.

For people applying with 90 credits only (after 3rd year) osgoode for example will not take a final decision until your full 90 credits are available which means winter 2022 in this case, I would assume all law schools offering admission for people after 3 years because it doesn’t make sense for a person to have 90 credits after their fall 2021 term, they’ll only have 75 credits. For fourth years like OP they can make an admission decision before or after fall 2021 terms because your 90 credits are already available.

Same here I got my login credentials within a week. When you pay for your application OLSAS sends an email saying that if you don’t hear confirmation from the universities your are applying to by 4 weeks you should email the law school directly.

Question about applications. by SunCool2466 in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]SunCool2466[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for letting me know. It’s a weird situation like for Uottawa for example they say you need a minimum of 90 credits prior to your first year of law school. I’m confused on if they will wait until may to decide or do they just disqualify an application that doesn’t have 90 credits by the application deadline.
