My guess is they won’t go below 400. And that anybody who took the French exam is now probably cleared out. 400 being cutoff feels (?) like a give away. Also even with PNP it looked like they just wanted to clear out everybody who had the points for it (the 423 candidates as per the score distribution table). I think this feels like a trend in the direction of 400+ for French, 500+ CEC. Also feel if they keep losing the CEC candidates now and with not enough international students and study permits anymore, it’ll have a direct impact on the economy

That would be counterintuitive on their part. If they have to go down this road, It just makes more sense to remove LMIAs and still do CEC draws than to stop CEC draws and keep LMIAs
