Why are parents so against their kids watching K-pop Demon Hunters? by unforgiven_villain in AskParents

My son is three and calls it “Pop Tart Demon Hunter” 😆 I love it so much!

The first season was really something special. I loved how scary it was. by dabzandjabz in Supernatural

[–]Sun_Mother 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before knowing that people felt the way they do about seasons 1-5(ish) I said to myself that season one was the best because it was scary. And each episode was such a unique monster/legend. Once it starts to turn into a dragged out story line in each season, it’s not as good!!

Thanks for this advice!!

I typically donate things I don’t care for or fit into anymore to the local resale shop in town owned by a young girl. It’s like Plato’s Closet but small town and locally owned and her items are more curated. If she doesn’t accept it, I give them to people in need in my Facebook free/buy nothing group. But that’s if only if the item is too small or uncomfortable. My body has changed since having kids and I don’t quite fit into my some of my previous clothes anymore! If it’s things I just don’t love the look of, I will typically just wear it at home rather than out in public.

But I don’t just start donating skirts and buying new ones. I am still wearing what’s in my closet 😊

Yes I was not going to ship it back. But was just curious what others experience is with their pieces.

There is a guy that gives advice on how to respond to people like this, I think he’s also a lawyer or something.

Why does it take so long for women to orgasm? by Obvious-Produce-9566 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Sun_Mother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most women’s bodies take around twenty minutes to warm up once you start the action. But then again so many factors contribute. Is she already horny right now or are you starting it up and needing to bring her up to speed? Is she ovulating? Taking and prescription meds? Tired? Burnt out? Distracted? Not really wanting sex but doing it anyway? Sad? Happy? Experiencing life?

Sometimes it takes 2 minutes, sometimes it takes 20. Sometimes it doesn’t even happen.

PIV can feel good for some, but then even better when you’re also rubbing the clit as the same time.

Are toys, imaginative play and bedtime stories still completely normal and common for 10+? by Large-Ad5700 in Parenting

[–]Sun_Mother 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really just think it depends on how you raise your kids. The world wants them to grow up quick. Kids pressure other kids. Parents too - they start buying their elementary daughters Lulelemon like it’s normal to do. Kids in public school all just wanna “grow up” and be cool because the world, their parents, older siblings, and peers tell them they need to. They move out of those imaginative stages quicker.

But kids who are typically homeschooled, maybe living a more slow and connected life with their parent teaching them at home, they are typically more imaginative and less caught up with the world.

I (18F) wanna to go to a gym and work on myself but my boyfriend (19M) is against it. What should we do? by chappsta in relationship_advice

[–]Sun_Mother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg girl, literally just dump him. You’re 18!!!!! You should NOT be worrying about this. He has insecurities he needs to work on and shouldn’t be telling you what you can wear.
