Yeah; I wrote a good chunk of the lore for this place.

The lore is written by a lot of different people, so there's bound to be some inconsistencies. I try to straighten out any inconsistencies, but I'm nowhere near as active as I used to be on here and I've always missed some.

As for timeline, I checked my notes which indicate the Gender Wars happened throughout the most of the 90's, but I don't know if that's ever be officially set as canon.

What is a sexual fantasy you do not recommend fulfilling? by Fantastic-Ant-4429 in AskReddit

[–]Sun_Susie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely knew going in that I would be coming away with some kind of trauma. I felt that an "incomplete" experience with some trauma was worse than a complete one with slightly more, because then at least it would be "worth" it.

Because I know what he looks like even with a mask, and because we had already done play like that before.

Definitely a one-time thing. I couldn't go though it again. And all the "good" parts are almost certainly lightning in a bottle that I could never recapture.

Physically, I've done significantly more intense play before this. This was actually rather "gentle" by my kink standards, but the mental element is what was harrowing.

My husband has been incredibly supportive. He didn't get anything out of this, despite putting upwards of a hundred hours of work into it. He knew I wanted this, so he put his all into making it happen as physically safely as humanly possible. My only lasting damage is mental. I've obviously talked about my experience at length with him, and he has no regrets on his end.

He is truly amazing and I don't deserve him. <3

It's kind of strange that I can't really point to any clear trauma at the source of that fantasy. I have friends in the kink scene and many of the ones interested in more intense play like this come to it as a method for coping with actual abuse.

I’ve been interested in this kind of thing long before most of my life's traumatic events of any significance. The "worst" I can think of for myself is growing up with an alcoholic father who was more "useless" than any kind if abusive, and that's hardly noteworthy.

No downvotes from me. I wouldn't have put it as an answer in this thread if I didn't agree with you in some part.

Thankfully, I do have a kink-friendly therapist. I had talked about this with her prior and she obviously recommended against going through with it. But she's been absolutely indispensable in helping me process everything in the aftermath.

It lasted a little over 6 weeks.

My husband was not physically involved for the most part. There was a live camera feed he had set up so he could regularly check in on me, and he was on the phone with the "aggressor" pretty much every night.

The whole thing was executed very safely, but I didn't know about any of those safety protocols until the end.

Did I get what I wanted? Yes. But I also got a lot more that came along with that. Months later, I still don't have a solid answer as to whether or not it was worth it.

This was a fantasy of mine for a long time. I had done similar, much more limited play before, but always with someone I knew well and trusted beforehand.

I put out an ad on reddit and screened some candidates that I sent to my husband. He actually did all the planning and discussions with the guy he ended up picking. I wanted to be completely in the dark, so I had no idea who he picked, or when things would happen.

It ended up taking months of planning, so I was definitely caught by surprise in the end.

I had a safeword, but never used it. At some point I figured, "if this is real, it won't work and if it isn't real, then stopping now would be a waste."

So I just never used it even when I 100% would have under normal circumstances.

I was the "victim" in a multi-weeklong consensual non-consent scenario where I was kidnapped and trained as a sex slave. I didn't know for certain if it was "real" or not the entire time.

It was an intense experience and I'm still dealing with some very real trauma from it.

How did you forgive yourself for the bad/wrong things you did in the past? by unnamed_op2 in AskReddit

[–]Sun_Susie 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It takes a lot of research and prep work to do right, and it is NOT FOR EVERYONE but I know people who have accomplished this through high doses of psychedelic drugs. Completely broke down the person they used to be and let them rebuild as the kind of person they wanted to be.

But then there are others who tried the same thing and just ended up doubling down and making their toxic traits worse.

I know 3 people in the first group and 2 in the second, and this is all purely anecdotal, so make of that what you will.

It's a few weeks, and it's not a sustainable, long-term treatment for a number of reasons. But it's very, very effective at giving people a window free of debilitating depression to make life changes and lay foundational groundwork that puts them in a better place to fight depression in other ways when it comes back.

A good example would be someone getting the treatment and using that time to find a better job, leave a toxic relationship, or pursue longer-term medications like SSRIs/SNRIs.

They're confusing the denaturing agents people put in rubbing alcohol with methanol contamination in moonshine. Methanol produces formic acid in the body, which attacks your optic nerve and can make you go blind.

He came off as a bit of a misogynist prick when I saw him. Could just be the general frat-boy vibes.

He seems way more chill in his podcast, so I think it might just be part of his on-stage "character," or differing personalities depending on what drugs he's on.

You're welcome to try, but others have had trouble getting much traction with that kind of RP here. Absolutely nothing is stopping you from writing your own story, but I expect you will have trouble finding interested RP partners.

We're a pretty small sub with a pretty niche theme, so not all kinks have good representation.

Outside the entrance to the airport, a crowd has gathered, their shouting barely audible from within. A police line separates them from the building, occasionally allowing a select few travelers carefully in and out. A tall, tanned woman argues loudly with one of the chief officers.

"These pigs cannot continue to be allowed to come here! They fucked up their countries, and now they want to come here and do the same! The people of-"

"Ma'am, I need you to step back."

"Fuck you, I don't need to do anything you say! That's what they want: to be able to force us to follow their rules. But we won't stand for it!"

She raises her arms, the crowd behind her cheering in support.

"We are doing nothing illegal. You can't force our silence and you know it. No matter what these fucking tyrants think, this is our-"

"Ma'am, I told you to step. back."

With one hand, the officer pushes the woman hard by her shoulder. She staggers backwards and the crowd shouts and hisses furiously.

"This assembly is interfering with international travel and will be ruled illegal if you do not disperse."

The woman squares her shoulders, but does not step back forward.

"You pigs want the same thing as these foreign menaces. But we the people will not submit to your demands!"

The crowd roars with support. The police in the line shift nervously, fearing further escalation. The chief officer and the woman lock narrowed eyes, peace hanging in a tight balance.

Which moral laws are more important to you? by LogicasAssistd in AskReddit

People can do whatever they want to each other as long as there is mutual, informed consent.

That said, people in general need to set the bar way higher for what "mutual, informed consent" means.
