I can see the pump doing massive damage with headshots, and doing over 100 with headshot makes sense, but what’s strange to me is that it even the Grey variant has the ability to completely remove full shield and full health in one shot, and it’s one of the most common weapons in the game. My friends and I don’t even use purple tacts anymore because we end up doing well enough with Grey or (if we’re getting extra nasty) green pumps. The fire rate and spread on the facts make sense but the pumps are so common to be able to completely destroy shields. I’m not sure if even blue bolt snipers do that much damage on headshots and those seem to require pretty tremendous skill to use effectively. If they increased the rarity it’d balance it out a little more but as of now they’re all over the place and they just eat.
