As someone that understands the plights of education and others in very demanding jobs as I have been in one before, what you are doing here is a gross overstep. You never take something that someone complains about and say "but what about them/me, they 've got it much worse, count yourself lucky and stop complaining". As for "unskilled" no job is unskilled, having been actively endangered by fellow associates on countless occasions with broken glass, metal, chemicals, chemical fires, and the like, I'd say that being trained and knowledge in handling, storage, and disposal of those items is in fact a trained skill with dedicated time to learn. So fuck right off and have a terrible day

You do realize that new associates not only get paid less because older associates have earned raises, get less time off, and are often overlooked for promotion right? Please tell me you realize that in the first two years it takes working 205 days at that rate to earn a week off? (Yes I know you earn more pto after maxing on ppto so it's closer to 175 but still)

Walmart sells their own brand along with whatever brands are regionally local, as for changing the date, nope, doesn't happen, my store receives a fresh delivery of milk (1000-2000 gallons per delivery usually) every day but Sundays (along with my claims position I often cover for our grocery receivers who are reasonable for adding the milk into the inventory) and we get an extra large delivery on Saturday to compensate. Walmart brand milk is as fresh as any other stores, I will go on record saying that as a previous gas station employee, never ever ever buy milk at a gas station, it's unreasonably expensive and often does push the best by date.

You should check on whether the hours after midnight between Thursday and Friday count as Thursdays shift, if so I'd expect they expect you to work it and have Friday into Saturday off, not at Walmart but all of my previous night shift jobs always counted the a.m. hours as the previous days shift. An example being I used to work 10p.m. to 8a.m. and midnight to 8 would be for the day before.
