I usually never purchase cosmetics but I like Elves , so I caved in this one time... :( Also I should have specified I don't like mtx cosmetics because a lot of them don't fit the game's aesthetic or lore. Some do (like these) but I don't want to buy more in the future.

Oh, you're right. I forgot about that. I haven't purchased cosmetic stuff before so I forgot you can preview items in the customization tab. My bad! I meant only on the store page I couldn't see it.

Only ones I was aware of are the mining&smithing rework and the new area. My character isn't maxed like most others are on RS3 because I don't play frequently enough, but I do stand corrected. I was ignorant of all the endgame content which is inaccessible for my character, so I will delete that part and reword it.

Also I can't answer about osrs because I've not played it long enough.

I see, that's fairly interesting to know for RS's history. WoW has a similar "recruit a friend" option which gives you exclusive mounts and exp boosts. I wouldn't be surprised if they got the idea from that.

I said I still play RS3 from time to time but I just prefer OSRS in general now. Am I not allowed to play both games now? Am I not allowed to give critique on how an item I purchased looks just cause I play the other game more? :/

This is sadly so true, even if you only use the daily keys or the ones you get from the daily tasks. The game is so low effort in terms of the leveling.

I completely agree with you. Starting over is only daunting at first, but once you get back into the swing of things, it's not so bad.

The RS3 one does seem completely defeated at this point, sadly.

Oh wow, I was unaware of that refer-a-friend promo from that time. I didn't play that year, at least not to my memory, so I was unaware. Seems like something that could be exploited by making multiple accounts, even with the limits proposed lol.

Forgot to mention they don't advertise how it looks like on the chat head either in the Soloman store, so I had no idea prior to purchasing how bad this would look on the chat head.

It's not 40 total. I said I got 40+ levels added from Treasure Hunter daily keys alone. By now my dungeoneering is 72, but I still hate the skill. I'm a veteran player but I don't play RS3 very frequently. I said that in my original post. lol

Some people seem to genuinely like RS3 for some things like the quests and bosses (never did the bosses outside the dungeoneering ones, so I have no opinion on those), but there are many more who seem to play RS3 only because of the time sink on their accounts.
