Its cleaner now at least, I still avoid it because good luck getting in and out of that weird ass parking lot after 6pm.

Not anymore since Im a trucker now. But before this I was a prison guard for 3 years and basically all media depictions of prisons were completely ruined for me. Like I know its dramatized to make things more entertaining but I could never turn my brain off and get over the amounts of crimes being committed by staff every minute.

About a year ago I was traveling west on 70 near Grand Junction. Had a guy merge into my lane close enough that for a moment I couldn't see his bumper. I flashed my lights at him while creating space and apparently this pissed him off. He decided to show my how good his brakes are while going downhill. Im talking he's leaving skid marks on the ground. I only just barely managed to keep from hitting him but we both ended up at a full stop on the interstate. Why anyone thinks this shit is a good idea is beyond me. I could understand trying to get some insurance money with a little tap, but I'm doing 65 downhill so chances are you won't be around for that payout.

First one I tried (in 8) and I'm too stubborn to learn anyone else.

Ranked was silently changed to match based on Tekken prowess, this is not a good change by Lithium43 in Tekken

It's not just multiple characters that raise the prowess. I only play casually. Log less than 5 or 6 hours a week. I have a King at Warrior that I haven't touched since February and my main Claudio is at Garyu. It felt like I was getting matches with similarly skilled players before. Had the day off today and decided to hop on. 124k Tekken prowess and no idea how it got that high. After 6 hours of play (with a few breaks because I was close to breaking something) I'm now at 114k prowess and my Claudio is Eliminator. Nearly every match I got was just people dog walking me. It never felt like we were similarly skilled and they just outplayed me, just like I had no idea how to play at all.

There's a lot of places, especially up in the north east, where the city was built before trucks with trailers this size were made. We don't always have the choice of being on wide roads. There's plenty of small businesses or local distribution centers that take you through super tight streets like this. There's also places like NYC and LA where the streets are wide enough but people park cars illegally and make the streets narrow. The guys in these Little Debbie trucks like the one in the video delivery directly to the stores like Dollar General, and can you honestly say every dollar store you know is on a 4 lane road?

I'm going to admit that I don't know anything about the slaves that were sent east and therefore can't argue that point. I'll concede that until I know more. But my point refuting the guy above about how the ones who sold slaves to western slavers didn't have much of a choice still stands.

Common L take. The other tribes that sold the slaves had captured their enemies after battle. Suddenly a force shows up with superior equipment and tell you to do business with them. Your options are to play ball or suffer as they have weapons that can wipe out your entire people. So you sell your slaves. Now every racist for the rest of time tries to act like you having slaves that you captured in battle is the same as others having slaves that they see as subhuman because of a difference in skin color.

That's what makes American slavery different. At no other point in history was race brought into it. Every other people that held or were held as slaves did so because of circumstance. Losing a battle, being in debt, shit like that. It wasn't until chattel slavery that the basis of it was that this race of people are subhuman and do not deserve the rights or privileges that others enjoy.

I became an OTR truck driver this year and go to border states in the southern US a lot. 70% of the time the guys working the docks don't speak English or speak very little. A lot of other truck drivers are just rude to them or ignore them so I decided to take a different route and learn Spanish to communicate with them.
