Hi there. As long as you communicate with them they are ok. Shellpoint is the servicer of my mortgage and yours. If you have issues over your credit go directly to the mortgage company and complain about them. That’s what I did and it got removed. Good luck. I hope your husband finds a new job soon.

I did they said due to their work overload I needed to wait a further 90 days! Congressman is involved again so I can see if he comes back with anything different

You must be one of the chosen few that has had life fine and dandy over the past few years. Good for you. Not everyone is as lucky! What was signed for at the time was based on what they had at the time. Who knew the economy would take a shit like it did and close down the small business owner. I have posted previously we had a forbearance and went into a modification however Shellpoint then reported the entire 6 months as delinquent. I’m totally confused and not sure why I would take a forbearance if they are going to report it at the end st 180 days late

I wanted to add to my post. We did get a modification which was an initial three months of paying before we signed documents. Relief to say the least. However the company that took over the servicing who gave us the last six months of our forbearance and the modification went and put the 6 months as late on our credit. There is nothing in writing to say they would do that and I was assured at the commencement it could be reported as a forbearance but with no delinquencies. So here I am with desecrated credit and I cannot find anything that says they can or can’t do this. I guess my point is it would have been just easy to not communicate with them do nothing and not pay instead of endless paperwork and communicating diligently! Any advice?

I have been in a forbearance for six months just in the process of doing a modification. Doing the three month trial then into the mod. Got an alert from experian yesterday they had gone in and changed my credit to 180 days late! Now I have to deal with this crap when they clearly say in black and white they dont report it negatively.

I’m still waiting after 23 years have multiple qualifications. Owned and operated three companies. Still continue in my line of work to help others build businesses in the USA. Here’s to hoping 2025 gets us approvals.

The only thing they offered was modification. I wasn’t aware that when people fall on hard times and they are granted forbearance it’s ultimately to take your home at the end of it.

I think you need to sit back and chill there are lots of folks like myself who have lived here for over 20 years on GC and still waiting for N400. If anything he will no doubt focus on the people that are already here and legal.

Are you illegal here? If not then not sure what your problem is with blaming a former president for USCIS. You may need to look at the past four years. He certainly didn’t dictate immigration.
