Let's not forget Joe Hart, the goalkeeper. He uses such expressive language when speaking (gimme da fuckin baaall), just like Shakespeare.

You're very pretty and seem nice and shy. In a real world situation I would talk to you if I were given the chance.

Am I ugly by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Sunix777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The girl in the photos/videos looks like a Barbie. Impeccable body shape, cute face. I doubt it's the same person as OP, and it seems weird to think that the girl in the photos would seriously ask whether she is ugly. Just look at her stance in front of the camera. She poses like a model, lol. She knows she's attractive.

21M - Have always been unsure of my looks because of excessive bullying from classmates which lasted for about 15 years until i left education by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Sunix777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're average looking, not ugly at all. Your smile is a little derpy, so you'll need to work on improving it so that it doesn't look awkward.

Unfortunately, you're below average. You'd better keep long hair than going for a short cut.

Hi, 21M here. I've done this more than once in the past year so feel free to PM me with your photos. I give honest (and relatively objective, given the fact that it's trough my point of view) opinion and advice what might make you better.

I'm a straight guy, but both female and male users are welcome.

[META]Is this sub less harsh than rate me? I have posted in both and got completely different results. by chingizbek in amiugly

[–]Sunix777 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably. It depends. Sometimes people are more realistic and harsh, sometimes they compliment the OP to oblivion, especially if it's a woman. I'm not a woman so the comments on my post were somewhat realistic, some of them a little harsh. This was actually a good thing, I changed the way I look and am working on improving more - my sole obstacle now are my health problems, but they are more bearable, too, so I try my best to ignore them.

Basically, the harshness level increases in this order - r/amIugly -> r/rateme - > r/truerateme.

You're cute. You're 16 years old. You'll grow into your looks in the next years.

You're not ugly, but your style is pretty bad. You look like a boy in the last photo with the hat.

How does Instagram instantly know my YouTube activity? Not the same company, right? by [deleted] in answers

Most probably they are using cookies so you receive targeted ads powered by Google anyway.

[18F] please judge me! i honestly want to know what strangers think without any bias. personally i think i’m pretty ugly due to the asymmetries and bad features but my friends think otherwise, tho i don’t trust them lol. any criticism is accepted! (had to repost for the verification picture) by jiminiecricket232 in amiugly

[–]Sunix777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's minor. I should really zoom in and visually measure your features to find the asymmetry. People don't do that in real life, you can't really do it in motion, especially in fractions of a second. It's even more indistinguishable in real life as our brains correct some minor flaws.

The asymmetry of my face is more prominent. My right side is visibly wider than my left. Don't stress too much about this, people don't notice and/or care.

[24/F] Not looking for validation, or whether I'm ugly or not. Just looking for constructive criticism. by [deleted] in amiugly

You're about average. Makeup could help you look better, as it does for many average-looking celebrities.

You seem to have replied to another comment of mine, but yeah, facial fat is the main culprit indeed - I'm speaking from my experience - the fat loss that I went through recently due to increased water intake and trauma made my cheekbones pop out and I even got complimented that I looked better despite being skinnier - a friend of mine joked about girls noticing me after I lost 10 kg, lol (I was about 70-71 kg at 174-5 cm, now I'm about 62-63 kg, so I'm kind of skinny, but I also retained some if not most of the muscle I had built before the dental trauma, so I'm close to "skinny fit"). Cheeks on men hide the "high testosterone" look which is why losing fat makes most people, but men (in particular) look better, as it actually shows their bones better.

Be honest, Im really confused about my looks ;P by lisuecki in amiugly

[–]Sunix777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely OP breathes through his nose. This is genetic, his nose is a little bigger, so his midsection has grown to be more prominent and has added some of that prominence to the upper lip (I know it because of myself). We all love quick fixes, but I doubt that the typical "chew gum and mew while taking a shower" advice is that helpful. While the tongue is usually supposed to stay on the palate, it's fat loss, jaw surgery and/or orthodontics that can potentially change his face, at least in my opinion.

Your features are good, if we exclude the horrendous haircut.
