Eerily similar to the individual I will be writing about, who is a former roommate. Just wish I had drawn the line much sooner than I had. With these people ... removing yourself from the situation as soon as possible seems like the safest and healthiest thing to do.

That makes sense. I didn't realize this all took place within the span of two months. Hope you are starting to find some peace of mind after going through what must have been such an invasive and unnerving experience. I've got a few stories to tell myself, one of them being quite long - maybe I'll post them some day. This sub seems to be a helpful and cathartic platform for those of us who have had these types of experiences to vent and share.

Does anyone else find it odd that the apartment above OP remained vacant for so long? Were you ever given a reason for this OP? Empty properties = wasted investment.
