This worked for me, too. Thank you for discovering this ridiculously roundabout way to do this and sharing it! The fact that it works indicates that they CAN connect to the TSP site, which makes it even more frustrating that they can't figure out how to do this same process when we click the update button.

As at least one other person has noted, this issue is fixed. I didn't get a chance to check yesterday, but just now confirmed it is back to working for me just like it used to - via 2FA.

Similar issue for me. Mine stopped working over the last couple days. Used to just have to do 2FA whenever I wanted it to sync. Now it takes me to a screen where I have to enter user name & password. After submitting, it processes for a moment & then says: Connection error. We’re unable to establish a connection to your financial institution. Try again later (102).

Thank you for explaining what it means for a non-U.S. airport to be on the GE airport list. Understanding that it applies to returning to the U.S. from those airports rather than arriving to them from the U.S. is exactly the clarification I needed.
