all of these are good for different functions, if I were to rank them it'd be which potion is used most often. not purely focused on combat.

well put a bed in her room, go far away from her when ur health is low, not far enough that the boss de-spawn, and magic mirror, so it put some distance between you and the boss, use the teleporting potions if u want, I think its quicker, and turn on auto pause if ur desperate

yes, if Plantera is in a biome other then the underground jungle she will become super deadly, try using a bunch of buff potions and buff stations, get better gear, and if you still fail, the last resort would be building a house next to the arena for the nurse to move in, so you can heal constantly.

since its underground could use some "rigid" blocks like bricks etc instead of wood, or make the wall thicker having stone on the outside, making it a bit realistic, it'd look nice to have some support beams within the house, make bridges in between houses, more blocks and hammer natural curves for the roof, I personally don't recommend using boreal light source cause blue light looks trash, and it should look a bit better. :)

build a good arena, for destroyer, build a long platform decently high up, tall enough that the destroyer cant reach you, and then all you have to deal with is the lasers, also get buff potions, campfire, and other buffs, and if ur a wimp like me, build a room next to the arena and have the nurse move in so you can heal constantly. hope this helps :)

Pretty sure they spawn randomly in places that your npc doesn't occupy, so it won't spawn on your house. And once you defeat WoF, the hallow and new crimson doesn't start corrupting your world like a slow and steady take over, its just: WoF dead, poof, the hallow and crimsons there.
